What IR-4 Does for You

In 2001, IR-4's petitions accounted for 50% of the new tolerances issued by EPA. In 2002, 50% of the petitions on the EPA work plan came from IR-4. Similar numbers were sustained in 2003, resulting in approximately 500 new pest management uses. IR-4 research contributed to regulatory clearances for the following labeled uses:

IR-4 also assists with Special Local Needs/Section 24 C registrations for localized pest management tools in large acreage crops.
